Environmental Fair
& KFMB Trash Event

KFMB SPRING TRASH OFF &
ENVIRONMENTAL/HEALTH FAIR
SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 2013
The Trash event starts with registration @ 8:30, in the Home Depot parking lot. We hand out supplies to volunteers and send them to various areas in Flower Mound (parks, trails, creeks, roadways) to clean up trash/recycles. Volunteers then bring back their findings and we provide lunch, the environmental fair, and door prizes
The Trash Event & Environmental/Health Fair are
family events.
All ages are welcome!
The fair includes kids activities and booths promoting positive environmental practices (indoor and outdoor) - water conservation, composting, West Nile prevention, gardening, native plant usage, ...
The Native Plant Society will be having their annual native plant sale at this event. The sale will include 1,000 plants and 60 species of plants!
CINTAS Document Management will be providing free document shredding to residents of Flower Mound and Christian Community Action will have a truck at the event to collect items for their resale store and pantry.
We have added a Health Section to our fair to promote Healthy Living (Keep Flower Mound Healthy!)
The fair is open to everyone, whether or not you participate in the Trash Event!
If you have a business that promotes positive environmental practices or
healthy living, consider having a booth at our fair!
